I’m tech lead at Gone.com. I push AI as far as it’ll go and build the systems around it, so it gets more done and I can trust what comes out. I keep ten or more Claude sessions running and watch them all from one window. That’s the spy part. Off the clock I’m still a tinker. I fix broken things, hunt thrift racks, and once sold enough secondhand menswear to learn what anything’s worth.

the workshop
Ideas don't wait anymore.
Claude writes all of the code now. I spend my days finding out how far it can go, and building the tools that push it further. Workflows, mods, connectors, evals. My ideas used to sit in my notes. Now they ship, sometimes the same week. Some days it feels like the future showed up early and let me in. It's the most fun I've had since fourth grade, when I found HTML and built my first websites.
Most of what I build now is the system around all those sessions. The long jobs get a workflow up front, because I already know what’s being built, and then they run on their own. Anything I do twice becomes a skill. It’s also my favorite hobby. I push it as far as it goes, try whatever’s new, and write up what I learn.

A map of every stop on a neighborhood garage sale day, filled by an AI pipeline that reads the organizer's messy list. Built in three days, never shipped, now live as a labeled demo on a sanitized dataset.
One short form, three quotes from local rental companies, no spam. The vendor emails, their replies and the comparison all run through one inbox. The most engineered thing in the factory. It never launched; it's live now as a demo that can't reach a real person.

Where the instincts came from.
Christmas sweaters in high school, menswear resale after college. Where I learned what things are worth.
In high school I was one of the first to sell ugly Christmas sweaters online, back when they were just grandma's old sweaters, and helped turn them into a trend. My site hit the first page of Google, and CNN, Good Morning America and Bloomberg Businessweek covered it.
What kept me going was the hunt. You never know what's on the next rack, and the math is simple. Buy it for $5, sell it for $40.
After college I went back to it and started Reuse Thrift, a re-commerce business for pre-loved men's clothing. It outgrew my basement and moved into a 4,000 sq ft warehouse, and I hired the team and wrote the software to keep up. More used menswear sells on eBay than anywhere else online. We were one of its top five sellers.
